Excited for your housecall mani-pedi, but also a little hesitant as it's your first time? Knowing what to expect during your first appointment can help make the experience even more enjoyable. Let's walk you through what you can expect at our in-home mani-pedi service where we bring the nail salon right to your door.

What should I prepare?

We recommend selecting a comfortable, quiet space in your scheduled location with an armchair or sofa for us to carry out the service. Please switch on the air conditioner 15 minutes prior to your appointment, switch off all fans and remove all humidifiers and dehumidifiers from the room.

If at all possible, try to have your beauty service done on the first floor of your home or scheduled location. Our Beauty Consultants will be immensely grateful as they bring along large luggage containing all of the beauty equipment required for your Refresh.

How long is the appointment?

Our regular mani-pedi session is approximately two hours long, but do factor in more time if any add-ons have been selected. Our range of add-ons include gel removal, callus treatment, and also nail art and vegan, organic spas to keep things fun.

If you're short on time, try our timesaver to experience our signature nail experience in half the time. Two manicurists will be at your service for a mani-pedi from start to finish within an hour.

What is the process like?

• Set-up - Tools are set up to prepare for your mani-pedi. This includes filling up a foot tub with water for your heated foot soak, laying out towels to keep things neat and clean and setting out all necessary nail tools and equipment.
• Pre-steps - If you've opted for gel removal, we will buff and file to gently remove the old gel polish.
• Warming foot soak - As you soak your feet in our heated foot spa, pick your choice of polish from our colour wheel or chart.
• Scrub, mask and filing - Next, your calves and feet will be gently but thoroughly scrubbed. A mask is applied as well and rinsed off after 5 minutes. Dead skin is also filed off with a foot file.
• Full nail works - Nails will be trimmed, shaped (round, square, squoval- your choice!) and filed to your preference, and cuticles will be cared for. After a quick hand and foot massage, polish is applied and finished off with cuticle oil to protect the cuticles.

What nail polish colours will you have?

While we may not carry as extensive a range of colours as a traditional nail salon—due to the practicality of transporting polishes, which can be quite heavy for our beauticians—we offer a curated selection of both classic and gel polishes for you to choose from. To match every mood and occasion, our range includes everything from solids to shimmers, and of course, plenty of the crowd favourite reds, pinks and nudes. Plus, we regularly refresh our polish selection to keep it fresh and exciting!

What should I do after the appointment?

Stay relaxed! At the end of the session, we'll take care of any clean up and will also offer advice on how to best care for your freshly manicured nails to maximise their lifespan. For classic polishes, it’s important to allow them to dry fully before resuming your activities for a longer-lasting manicure.
